Val Baptista became a real estate agent in 1979 and acquired his Real Estate Broker's license in 1982. He joined Nova Realty Inc. as a partner and vice president in 1987. Since then sales production has more than doubled, bringing this company into being one of the top sales offices in Bridgeport. Val has since been the top selling person and was elected as manager in 1996.

Val Baptista has been a member of the Greater Bridgeport Board of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, and The National Association of Realtors since 1982.

Besides English, he is fluent in Portuguese and is also able to communicate in Spanish.
